Last night was Alyssa and Kaden's 1st camping trip on there own, even though it was only in the living room they still had fun.The kids put up a tent and made up there sleeping bags and pillows. Expecting to have kids in our room during the night, amazingly enough they made it through the hole night.

The kids were given a bunny today, thanks to our friends the Carter's. His name is Thumper... He is so friendly. They are loving it and having a blast with him...

Thanksgiving Day!!!

We went to my in laws in Orland this year for Thanksgiving. We had a great dinner and time with family. We did not have Alyssa this year:( She was with her dad. On our way home I wanted to go get a paper so I could look at the Walmart add to see if there was anything good in there. We drove to every gas station in town and every news paper stand but they were all sold out.... so needless to say, I didn't get up early and go.

I took Kaden to see Elmo last night... He had the best time. We went with a group of friends and their kids. They all loved it. It was in Redding at the convention center. It didn't start till 7pm, so he was starting to get a little tired at the end but he did really good and he had a blast singing and dancing.

Kaden's 3rd Birthday Party!!

We had Kaden's Birthday Party at Chuck E Cheese this year. He loved it and had a great time. All of his little friends and family were there to help him celebrate. Wow, how time flies... I can't believe he is already 3 years old.

Tyler Is 8 Months Today!!!!

I can't believe how time flies.... Tyler is 8 months old today. He is getting big so fast. He started crawling when he was 4 months old and he is now walking around all the furniture. He will be walking by himself in no time. (He already is trying.) Oh yeah and his first word was mama... I LOVE IT. He now says dada also. I'm enjoying staying home with my kids and trying to cherish all the time I have with them cause before I no it they will be to busy for me.

I'm a Great Aunt!!!

My niece Brittni had her baby girl Haley Alexis on Sunday November 9th.

She is so precious. She weighed 8lbs 4oz and was 21in long.

Poor Brit had a long and hard labor but she did a great job!!!

Halloween 2008!!!!

We all had a great time on Halloween... this year I worked at Alyssa's school the night of Halloween as they had a carnival. It was fun seeing all the kids having fun, as well as some parents, as they walked from classroom to classroom playing games and gathering as much candy as they can fit into their bags. It was a good choice due to the rain and cold weather we have been experiencing here in Red Bluff. As you can see, Alyssa was a gothic angel; Kaden was a cowboy; and young Tyler was a horse. Another Halloween gone and all the decorations are put away, up goes the Thanksgiving decor as we await another holiday shared with family.

Story Time!!!

Today I took Kaden to the Library for story time... It was so cute and he had so much fun!! She read three books to all of the kids and then they did three different craft activities. They turned out really cute. I'm planning on taking him every week if it all works out.

Report Cards!!!

We are so proud of Alyssa. She is off to a great start this school year. Her report card was outstanding for the first quarter. she made the honor roll. She is so excited... Her teacher said she was a great student and a pleasure to have in class.

Carving Pumpkins!!!

On Monday afternoon we carved pumpkins... well Alyssa did most of the work. Kaden did not want to have anything to do with the guts!! He made Alyssa do all the dirty work. The had a great time and they turned out really cute. Tyler loved watching, he wanted to get right in the middle of it.

We took the family to the Mt. Shasta Pumpkin Train this year to pick out pumpkins. We had to get bundled up as if we were going to the snow because it was so cold!! Todd and I were happy to see the kids having so much fun. We had a blast and got some great pumpkins!
